What You’ll Do

As our Security and Cloud Engineer, you will play a critical role in safeguarding Kongsberg Digital’s infrastructure and data from ever-evolving cyber threats. You will work hands-on with both IT operations and Security, helping to build, maintain, and test security systems — and ensuring they are fully integrated into our development and operational pipelines.

You Will Have The Opportunity To

• Plan, implement, and monitor technical security controls across our digital landscape.
• Ensure secure design and configuration of systems through continuous compliance and risk assessments.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to internal teams, helping them navigate security challenges.
• Drive our Security Champion program — promoting best practices, onboarding new champions, and hosting monthly sessions.
• Collaborate with DevOps, engineering, and infrastructure teams to embed security into all phases of development and operations.
• Manage logs and security telemetry pipelines (LogAnalytics / Azure Sentinel), fine-tune alerts, and ensure reliable detection capabilities.
• Assist Cloud Operation in maintaining IAC (infrastructure as code), deployments and pipelines.
• Assist during security incidents in collaboration with the Security Operations Center (SOC).
• Coordinate and follow up on penetration tests, red teaming, and simulation-based exercises.
• Support vulnerability and threat management efforts, improving posture through automation and secure score tracking.
