Assignment Description

The position reports daily to the Yggdrasil Asset Engineering manager. The main purpose of this role is to be the Instrument equipment specialist, and the role also contributes within the Automation discipline. Providing engineering support and acting as a discipline expert for Instrument engineering activities, that increase equipment reliability and plant uptime are key tasks in the role. In the project phase, the main tasks will be to prepare for taking over the system and equipment from the project, establish good handover plans, and carry out verification of quality against specifications. Further there are possibilities for continuing in the Yggdrasil base asset organisation from 2029.

This position is part of the Yggdrasil Asset Engineering department. Responsibilities include :

• Responsible for field instrumentation and field equipment for safety systems
• Technical discipline responsible for barrier functions for instrumented systems
• Operational procedures owner
