Country Trade Compliance Officer – Nordics

This is a strategic compliance role focused on implementing international trade controls and optimizing supply chain efficiency. As a Trade Compliance Officer , you’ll guide teams on customs, export controls, and sanctions compliance across Nordic operations.

Your Responsibilities :

Implement and manage global trade compliance programs

Ensure local alignment with EU export / import regulations and sanctions

Provide internal training and support to supply chain and commercial teams

Engage in audits and help optimize automated trade tools (SAP / SAP GTS)

Collaborate across legal, logistics, and procurement functions

Ideal Candidate :

Degree in law, trade, economics, or logistics

Experience in EU export controls, sanctions, and customs compliance

Proficiency in English and Norwegian; other Nordic languages are a plus

Familiarity with HS / ECN classification and material master data is valuable
