Responsibilities
- Make an impact : Step into an important role at Swisslog as a Field Service Engineer. Your technical skills and customer focus will help ensure the performance and reliability of advanced automated material handling systems at a customer site in Våler. You will work independently with one colleague, fully responsible for the customer with support from your leader and extended team.
- This role is not just hands-on technical work; it offers an opportunity to become a trusted partner to our customers and a key part of our Customer Service team.
- You will ensure customer system operation is maximized, adhering to all relevant instructions and technical standards.
- You will act as Swisslog’s public face, maintaining strong customer relationships and planning service activities in collaboration with the customer to ensure high satisfaction and system uptime.
- You will identify opportunities for system improvements and upgrades, communicating these to relevant stakeholders within Swisslog.
- You will understand the importance of Health and Safety regulations, conducting your work safely.
- You will be part of the preparedness group, supporting with acute incidents that cannot be addressed remotely by other support teams within Controls and Software.
Application Requirements
What you need to succeed : We’re looking for a skilled and motivated professional who thrives in a dynamic, hands-on environment.
Several years of experience as a service technician, preferably within electronics or automation.Good technical knowledge in electronics, control systems, mechanics, or pneumatics.A technical degree or vocational certificate in a relevant field.Strong troubleshooting skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving.Experience with documentation and reporting.Confidence using various computer systems and handling administrative tasks.A valid driver’s license.Physical readiness and comfort working at heights.Fluent in English and any Scandinavian language, both spoken and written.#J-18808-Ljbffr
