About the role : We are looking for a proactive and analytical Project Developer with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong leadership capabilities to join our New Ventures team as soon as possible. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple exciting priorities under tight deadlines, demonstrating composure, diligence, and excellent narrative skills to deliver investment-ready solutions. You will be part of a small, experienced, and agile team with a hands-on, collaborative approach. The role requires independence, adaptability, and strong communication, balancing autonomy with alignment to organisational priorities in a rapidly shifting market influenced by global political and regulatory dynamics. The position offers opportunities to develop leadership skills and progress into other management roles across the company. Some global travel is expected as you liaise with our other offices and external stakeholders.

There is a focus on collaborating with internal teams and external partners, with the expectation to work with senior decision-makers and key external partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage New Ventures initiatives, such as floating CCS applications and clean fuels (ammonia) development, from concept through to investment decision
• Monitor regulatory, economic, and technological developments; develop business cases and marketing strategies; negotiate early-stage agreements; and represent BW Offshore externally
• Build and assess commercial and technical feasibility, aligning client needs, technologies, and business opportunities to deliver practical energy transition solutions
• Collaborate with engineers, supply chain, partners and vendors to advance the technical development and maturity of products and solutions, enabling market readiness
• Drive structured progress within a dynamic and evolving business area, engaging with stakeholders across disciplines and geographies
• Work closely with senior decision-makers and key external partners
