🚀🚀Job Mission

The Trading team is responsible for short-term power and flexibility trading of the Tibber portfolio. This includes developing and implementing algorithmic trading solutions that automatically balance our portfolio, trade and steer asset flexibility in real-time and run proprietary trading activities. Additionally, the team is responsible for developing and managing demand and price forecasts in order to commercially optimize Tibber’s portfolio in the relevant energy markets. Some of your responsibilities will include :

• Participate in the trading rotation. Take the opportunity to join a dynamic trading team covering both Day Ahead and Intraday, including participating in a weekend rotation (1 / 4 weekend).
• Contribute to building trading strategies. These will maximize the value of Tibber’s unique attributes and assets.
• Contribute to the development of decision and execution algorithms. Leverage the unique insights to commercially handle the portfolio in the short term power markets.
• Data pipeline management. Continually contribute to the development and engineering of data pipelines necessary for algorithmic trading.

We're looking for a commercially minded and curious team player to join our growing Trading team. We value your attention to detail and your analytical skills, especially your ability to turn analysis into actionable trading strategies. You bring technical knowhow, such as diligence and quality in coding and model development, preferably with experience in Python. As much as we appreciate your collaborative approach, we value your proactive and independent way of working, your high reliability, and strong communication skills.
