As a Strategic Content Manager, you will produce high-quality content that supports DNV’s strategic goals and thought leadership ambitions. You will be creating content in both Norwegian and English, but mostly English.

You will be one of two speechwriters for DNV’s Group President and CEO, and you will edit / write and project manage flagship corporate publications, writing web feature articles and working with our strategic research teams and business areas. You will be part of DNV's Group Communications team, consisting of highly competent professionals from ten different countries.

Main responsibilities :

  • Write speeches, scripts and presentations (in English and Norwegian) for the Group President and CEO.
  • Project manage and edit flagship publications, including managing design agency.
  • Manage content calendar for DNV for alignment and planning across our business areas.
  • Develop and edit content in the form of publications, web articles, blogs, SoMe posts, etc.

This is a temporary maternity cover position with start date as soon as possible and end date on 31 March 2026.

You will be part of DNV's Group Communications team, consisting of highly competent professionals from ten different countries, and work closely with marketing and communications teams in our six business area. You will report to the Head of Group Brand and Marketing Communications.

The position is based at our headquarters outside Oslo in Hovik, Norway.

  • You are a passionate writer and have completed a university degree in journalism, political science, communications, engineering or similar.
  • You have a minimum of three years of professional work experience as a writer or editor, journalist, PR consultant, communications advisor or similar.
  • You have outstanding (preferably native) Norwegian and English writing skills.
  • You enjoy doing thorough research on the topics you write about, and it is a big plus if you have knowledge about the energy industry.
  • Crafting engaging messages, tuned to the audience, context, channel and sender, is second nature for you.
  • You have good business acumen and learn fast, especially about complex, technology-heavy topics.
  • You get things done, while elegantly managing multiple internal and external stakeholder expectations, and you can manage many projects simultaneously.
  • You are a self-starter and good networker, with strong communication skills and intercultural competence.
