Role Summary

TECHNICIAN – Base Sola

CHC Helikopter Services are now recruiting for multiple roles as technicians at our bases located on Sola, at the Department of Light Maintenance / Block (Part 145)

Key Responsibilities

The tasks will be related to maintenance and modification of aircraft, but co-responsibility and flexibility are also assumed in relation to other necessary tasks related to technical responsibilities and obligations.

We are concerned that the successful candidate actively contributes to positive development of quality, efficiency and the working environment, and we therefore place great emphasis on the ability and willingness to cooperate in a team-environment.

• Responsible for maintaining the required authorisations for aircraft and aircraft components maintained in their area
• Responsible for the quality of work carried out by themselves and non-certifying technicians under their supervision
• Responsible for the accurate compilation of documentation and the certification of maintenance carried out within the scope of their authority
• Ensuring that all documentation used during maintenance is of the correct revision status
• Ensuring that they remain current with all amendments to Company Procedures / Manuals and all other relevant technical data provisioned
• Ensuring that all tools used during maintenance are properly controlled.
• Responsible for the cleanliness and tidiness of the work area’s under their control
• Work in compliance with the company’s Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures
• Ensure that the company IT systems are updated, and ensure proper reporting
• May perform other duties as assigned within areas of responsibility
