Role Summary

Heli-One (Norway) AS Design Department is an EASA Part 21J approved Design Organisation. We provide design and certification of modifications and repairs to helicopter customers worldwide.

We are currently looking for an Avionics Design Engineer to our design department. . As an Avionic Design Engineer you will be working with modifications to helicopter Navigation, Communication, Electrical and Mission Systems. This position will be part of the Heli-One (Norway) AS avionic design team and is currently reporting to Lead Engineer Avionics. Necessary training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and design changes to aircraft component and systems
• Develop installation drawings, installation instructions, test instructions, safety assessments and other relevant analytical reports as applicable
• Demonstrating compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and certification specifications
• Assist in certification of design changes towards EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) and / or other regulatory authorities
• Supporting our commercial department in tender work as required
