About the role :
Do you have a flair for sales, business development and interest in IT? Are you also a goal- and results driven person? As a Business Development Manager at TD SYNNEX Norway you are working with latest technological solutions and world class brands!
As a Business Developer Manager – VMware, you will be responsible for VMware sales, growth plans internally, and to drive them in specific strategic segments. You will be a part of a large Software and Cloud team, working with the largest IT resellers in Norway and the Nordics.
What you'll do :
Work closely with VMware Norway and be a valuable member of the Hybrid Cloud team working closely with our hardware and software team.
Executing the Business Unit strategy in full alignment with the agreed strategy to grow profitable market share.
Drive sales and marketing across the VMware portfolio including new product launches and other business development initiatives in order to optimize results.
Have a clear understanding of TD SYNNEX and VMware’s value proposition and demonstrate ability to communicate internally and externally.
Interact directly with sales leaders and other team members to capture feedback and share best practice on business, technology, and process improvements.
Enable and support the hardware and software teams to win and grow share of wallet and maximize rebate opportunities.
As a BDM you will also find new partners / resellers and by conveying the VMware value proposition onboard them as a TD SYNNEX reseller in the Norwegian market.
What we're kindly looking for :
3+ Years of relevant work experience working with VMware .
To be successful in this role we expect you to be a skilled relationship builder with high energy and motivation. Furthermore, you are business driven and capable of strategic thinking with strong orientation towards services and solution selling.
We expect you to have relevant work experience. Preferably, you have a good knowledge about IT- industry and understanding how the channel works with experience working within a matrix structure. Ideally with a sales, business development, or product marketing background. You have strong communication skills in Norwegian and English, both verbally and in writing.
