Job descriptionBachelor's degree or Technical College with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience. Minimum 5 years of experience in designing and calculating electrical heat-trace systems for offshore projects. Deep knowledge of electrical design standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, and IEC. Familiarity with Aveva E3D and NavisWorks software. Valid Ex and FSE certificates, or willingness to obtain them promptly. Strong communication skills in English, both written and oral. Cooperative attitude and ability to work effectively in a multicultural team. Systematic, accurate, and proactive approach to meeting deadlines and quality requirements.
We are seeking a skilled Heat Trace Engineer for a large greenfield project. This is an opportunity to develop your skills in electrical heat trace design within a major EPC project.
Responsibilities
- Calculate, select, and oversee the design of heat trace cables.
- Design and follow up on heat trace requirements based on P&IDs and project solutions.
- Input, update, and maintain the heat trace engineering register.
- Participate in inter-disciplinary meetings to ensure project alignment.
- Coordinate between fabrication and engineering teams.
- Interface with other disciplines to deliver compliant and reliable heat tracing solutions.
