Location : Asker, Norway

Contract Duration : 01 / 11 / 2025 – 31 / 12 / 2027

Project Scope : FEED leading into EPC – Offshore Oil & Gas (new platform design and brownfield adaptation)

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security & Network Engineer to take a leading role in a large-scale engineering project. The role involves working on both greenfield and brownfield scopes in an international, multidisciplinary team, delivering secure and robust industrial network solutions for a critical offshore project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the cyber security and network design activities throughout the project
  • Ensure implementation of IEC 62443 in line with national regulations and client-specific requirements
  • Specify technical requirements for suppliers and participate in early-stage selection processes
  • Plan and participate in FAT and other test activities
  • Develop and deliver engineering documentation (strategies, topologies, philosophies, etc.)
  • Conduct and document relevant risk and vulnerability assessments

Required Education and Courses

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field
  • Valid FSE course through the duration of engagement
  • Valid EX course through the duration of engagement

    • Required Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of experience with real-time systems and mission-critical networks
  • At least 4 years working specifically with cyber security in industrial systems or products
  • Experience with IEC 62443 and related cybersecurity standards
  • Background in EPC projects and preferably in the Oil & Gas sector
  • Documented experience with risk assessment activities in industrial projects

  • Structured, detail-oriented, and quality-focused
  • Comfortable working in a multicultural environment
  • Fluent in English (Norwegian is an advantage)
