A look at what you would do
- Use tech such as Kubernetes, Docker, PostgreSQL, AWS Services, CI / CD
- Build and maintain Java Spring Boot and Spring Cloud services, used in our integrations.
- Design and implement APIs to ensure smooth service communication.
- Leverage Github, Google Workspace, Jira and Confluence Cloud
- Continuously create exciting new products and features, collaborating closely with colleagues
- Write tests at different levels to ensure the quality in your code
- Identify and keep track of metrics that tell you how our software is performing with Humio and Grafana.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues and the business to increase value for our customers and partners
- Prioritise work with the team and the Product managers
- Be creative and brainstorm ideas for ways we can further streamline our development
- Bring your own unique skill set to the table. Experiment, test, try, fail and learn all the time
- Become part of an international, agile, multidisciplinary team that loves to discuss and solve problems in the group.
- Work in a hybrid environment with at least 2 office days a week
Skills and requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field5+ years of experience in backend developmentExcellent knowledge of Java or similar languagesKnowledge of Spring Boot is preferableFamiliarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)Experience with the AWS cloud and architecture, in general, is a plusWrite well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code and actively improve the quality of the codebaseGive good reviews, and don't shy away from a constructive discussionBe a curious engineer and proactive in your ways of workingActively engage in fostering a great team cultureBe open-minded and cooperate well with others; share knowledge, experience and information effectively through oral and written communicationWhat we offer
