Responsibilities
- System Responsible Engineer for Utility systems (SRU)
- Contribute in the preparation phase with review and verification of documentation and drawings relevant to MC and Commissioning of designated systems
- Provide engineering input
- Estimation and planning of commissioning scope of work onshore and offshore for designated systems, including input to plan
- Plan and execute MC follow-up and commissioning activities independently
- Participate in MC punch outs and FATs at supplier sites
- Deliver input and update progress into project completion system PIMS
- Develop, review, and implement commissioning procedures
- Coordinate with different departments and disciplines to ensure efficient execution of commissioning with a high focus on HSSE
- Plan and call off ATS as required
- Manage assistance personnel from contractors and other resources providing services
- Ensure spare parts and special tools are available prior to execution of commissioning activities
- Plan and ensure first fills are available in a timely fashion and perform first fills
- Provide leadership to maintain a high level of focus on health, safety, and environment to achieve client expectations
- Plan and coordinate commissioning assistance and support as required
- Participate in discipline MC punch rounds at sites for designated systems
- Plan and execute commissioning activities in a timely manner based on the commissioning plan
- Ensure a smooth transition from Project to Operations
- Participate in pre-start-up and performance test reviews as necessary
Qualifications
BSc. in Engineering or a related field or equivalent education / experienceMSc. in Engineering or a related field or equivalent education / experienceExperience from NORSOK projectsExperience with Sulphate Removal Units is a major advantageSystem-based commissioning knowledge and understandingSAS logic and SCD knowledge is a major advantageSAS dynamic simulator experience is a major advantageTrack record of delivery in the Oil & Gas industry for the Norwegian Continental Shelf and ability to demonstrate effective system commissioning skills is a major advantageFamiliarity with Project Completions Systems and document management systems; experience with PIMS is an advantageAbility to engage and lead a team of commissioning engineers & technicians to achieve timely execution of commissioning activitiesMinimum 10 years of relevant experienceEfficiency and Performance ManagementPersonal traits
