About the Role

As  Mainframe z / OS – ISV Products Administrator , you will be part of a skilled global team managing the installation, maintenance, and support of ISV and IBM software products. You'll work with key tools like SMP / E, REXX, and JCL to ensure stability and performance across large-scale enterprise environments.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Install and Maintain Software : You will install and configure ISV and IBM products on z / OS systems, ensuring they are working smoothly.
  • Troubleshoot Issues : You will help solve problems, analyze system errors, and find solutions to improve the system’s performance.
  • Work with Tools : You will use tools like SMP / E, JCL, REXX, and TSO to optimize mainframe operations.
  • Collaborate : Work with other teams to ensure systems run efficiently and provide support to customers as needed.
  • Improve Systems : Contribute to ongoing projects aimed at enhancing system performance and functionality.

Required Skills

  • Solid experience in mainframe software administration and z / OS system tools.
  • Hands-on with ISV tools such as CA OPS / MVS, ACF2, SAS, CA TLMS, CA View, ChangeMan ZMF, etc.
  • Proficiency in REXX / CLIST scripting and using JCL, SDSF, TSO.
  • Good understanding of z / OS operations, software maintenance, and performance monitoring.
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken).

    • Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with Db2, CICS, IMS, and compiler products.
  • Experience with z / OS ISHELL / OpenMVS.
  • Knowledge of ITSM tools like ServiceNow or SM9.
  • Certifications related to mainframe administration are a plus.
  • Coordination or sub-project leadership experience is an advantage.
