Overview

Observability - Infra and Services UX - Senior Fullstack Engineer (TypeScript, Go) at Elastic. Elastic, the Search AI Company, enables real-time answers across data at scale, combining search with AI capabilities to deliver turnkey observability solutions for logs, metrics, and traces. This role focuses on delivering the best experiences from Elastic Observability to Grafana, with UI components and APIs built in Kibana and Grafana that serve as the window into customer data.

What You Will Be Doing

Building advanced capabilities into the Elasticsearch data source Grafana plugin
Developing new and existing Observability products deployed in various models (self-managed to full SaaS)
Developing the user experience for Observability applications in Kibana using TypeScript / React
Collaborating as part of a close-knit team of engineers who mentor, support, and challenge each other

What You Bring

JavaScript programming skills with 5+ years of web application development

Experience with Go development

Creative, enthusiastic interest in technology and web development

Willingness to learn in a fast-paced, distributed environment

Computer Science (or related) degree or equivalent technical bootcamp experience

Bonus : Front-end framework experience (React, Angular, Vue)

Bonus : Experience with TypeScript and / or Node.js

Bonus : Experience in open source

Bonus : Familiarity with Observability and / or Elasticsearch

Bonus : Familiarity with GenAI
