Main Purpose of the Role

We are looking for translators with experience in English into Norwegian and native-level fluency for Norwegian in patent translation, with immediate availability for a patent translation project in the fields of biology and mechanics.

Main duties

Translate patent-related content from English into Norwegian, with original meaning conveyed in a manner readable and understandable to the target audience. Style adequacy is a key aspect for our client.

Follow instructions, including translation process and CAT tool usage.

Communicate effectively and respond promptly in English.

Required skills

Native fluency in Norwegian

Degree in linguistics, translation or equivalent experience

Minimum 1 year of experience in translation and / or editing of patent documents

Proficiency in CAT tools, especially XTM

Attention to detail

Good availability and quick response times

Selected candidates will be invited to complete a translation test. Approved linguists will be included in our pool of external partners and professional details will be made available to our global Production teams.
