Erithy, previously known as Be Better Contractors, specializes in the design and construction of sustainable subsea infrastructure globally.

We deliver consultancy services within the oil and gas industry, high voltage cables, biogas and hydrogen, as well as civil engineering services and project administration.

Created in 2017, Erithy has grown into a consultancy team made up of various profiles from Europe, South America and the Middle East, working on projects across Norway.

We are now looking for a Senior SAS / Automation Engineer for one of our customers based in Oslo .

Responsibilities :

  • Provide technical leadership for upgrading programs, with specialized knowledge of ABB 800xA SAS systems, and maintain a good technical relationship with ABB.
  • Work closely with the Program Execution Lead and stand in for this role when needed.
  • Handle technical aspects related to application on the 800xA (REUSE) platform and 800xA system as a whole.
  • Serve as a technical link between all project stakeholders, ensuring technical quality and fostering good understanding among vendors to facilitate effective collaboration.
  • Contribute to the preparation and approval of various documentation such as test procedures, engineering / programming documentation, and participate in FAT / SAT.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Cybernetics or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience with SAS systems in the oil and gas industry.
  • Experience with ABB 800xA applications and REUSE library.
  • Experience with ABB 800xA system, including servers / clients and networking.
  • Experience with large SAS projects and operation / maintenance of ABB 800xA systems.
  • Knowledge of various communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, etc.).
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
  • Willingness to travel offshore.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Result-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a high-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Norwegian and English, both spoken and written.

    • The program is based in Fornebu, and there is an expectation to work at this office every other week.
