  • Ownership of EHS process descriptions and procedures. Continual improvement of these. Management of EHS improvement initiatives in Gas Solutions.
  • EHS Manager is a global role for Gas Solutions, and includes coordinating EHS management and improvement across all Gas Solutions sites.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining the company’s QEHS Policy and ensuring establishment and follow up of EHS objectives and targets
  • Drive implementation and follow up of company’s EHS KPIs and targets.
  • EHS KPI reporting and analysis to management.
  • Follow up of quarterly sustainability reporting
  • Be up to date on relevant laws and regulations within EHS
  • Maintain overview of laws and regulations related to EHS.
  • Follow up on corporate compliance status and issues
  • Key user and management of WeCare system (Environment, Health, Safety and Security related cases). Ensuring registration and follow up of WeCare reports, and continuous EHS improvement.
  • Ensure Root Cause Analysis related to EHS incidents is initiated where required, and in some cases also facilitate this.
  • Ensure outcome of RCA and other learnings from WeCare reports are communicated to the organization, e.g. through Safety Flash.
  • Run campaigns to improve safety awareness (e.g. Safety Day)
  • Contribute to regular safety walks. Train and guide line managers and other relevant staff in doing safety walks.
  • Give support and advice related to EHS related requirements, procedures, guidelines, and requirements for PPE, etc.
  • Inform and train the organization in environment, health and safety topics / systems
  • Together with line managers, ensure good overview and records of safety training in the organization
  • Coordinate First Aid initiatives
  • Coordinate Fire Warden system (local)
  • Coordinate Safety Delegate / Team (local). Running Working Environment Committee.
  • Together with Emergency Preparedness Team, ensure system and procedures are in place and exercises conducted.
  • Facilitate and coordinate EHS risk assessments, together with relevant departments.
  • Support with expertise and way of working for JSA, and in some cases also facilitate JSA.
  • Support and give advice on establishing project EHS documentation as required by customer, like EHS Plan.
  • Support and give advice to Supply Management, on their work with evaluation and follow up of suppliers and contractors in respect of EHS.
  • Coordinate, participate in and facilitate internal, customer and third party audits and certifications (ISO 14001, and ISO 45001)
  • Preparing EHS related input, and taking part in Gas Solution Management Review
  • Be a key driver to maintain and further develop Gas Solutions as a company with a strong emphasis on EHS

Minimum Qualifications :

Relevant education and experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. Long experience within EHS can compensate for formal education.

  • Experience from similar position within engineering / technology industry
  • Preferably some experience from field work
  • Preferably certified E, H&S auditor
  • Ability to work in cross functional teams
