Overview

Brobekk barnehage drives as an avdelingsbarnehage with 4 fixed departments and large common areas. We have 72 children aged 1-6 years, and facilitate physical activity, play, learning and activities according to age. We have experienced pedagogues, barnehagemedarbeidere and barne- og ungdomsarbeidere and own 100% styrer. Each department has two equal pedagogues and two barne- og ungdomsarbeidere and / or barnehagemedarbeidere.

Brobekk barnehage is a practice kindergarten with a close collaboration with OsloMet. We are a learning organization that continually aims to stay professionally updated by reflecting and discussing expertise together. We have several employees who have taken further education.

Brobekk barnehage was completed in 2007. The kindergarten is beautifully located in a quiet residential area, with Bjerke skolehage as the nearest neighbor where we have our own planter boxes. We have a playground with climbing frame, slide, football field, dumper, small houses, swings and sandbox. We have good walking opportunities in the local area, which we actively use in all seasons. The district is part of Groruddalssatsningen with exciting development work. We are involved in the project “Språksterk 1-6” which is a development and research project led by the University of Oslo (UiO) to investigate how children in multilingual areas can contribute to good language development for all children. We collaborate closely with nearby schools, especially Linderud skole which has a transition teacher who is 50% employed by the district and 50% employed in the education section. Our focus areas are language, early intervention, public health and participation.

Who we are looking for

We are seeking a pedagogical leader with leadership qualities who can take initiative and contribute to the professional environment in the kindergarten. You must be able to recognize individual children's needs, support play and create a safe, good learning environment for all children. You must be able to design a pedagogical plan and facilitate for all children to have the best possible kindergarten day.
