The role will be based in our Paris office with a flexible hybrid working approach.
Responsibilities
- Support the full range of project management processes including scope, budget, reporting, planning, client interaction, and contract administration.
- Take proactive responsibility for small to medium projects (approx. NOK 10–100M) with a high level of independence.
- Represent Cumming Group to clients, suppliers, contractors, consultants, and industry partners.
- Ensure effective communication with all stakeholders to keep projects transparent and on track.
- Assist with risk and value management, including workshops and project risk registers.
- Manage contract administration, monthly reporting, and chair project meetings.
- Deliver accurate, timely, and high-quality work outputs while supporting senior PMs as needed.
- Comply with client governance, company policies, and HSE / quality procedures.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Commit to professional development and support colleagues and the wider business.
Qualifications
Skills & CompetenciesProven ability to deliver results in client-facing roles, including confident responses to client requests and knowing when to escalate issues.Strong problem-solving mindset with innovative solutions to improve project delivery.Resilience and resourcefulness when managing complex challenges.Commitment to exceeding client expectations and maintaining high ethical standards.Experience managing diverse stakeholders and motivating teams, including supply chain partners.Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and support junior colleagues.Flexible and adaptable to changing requirements and priorities.Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in English and Norwegian or Swedish .Education & ExperienceDegree qualified (industry or non-industry).4+ years of project management experience, ideally in the construction industry.Working towards MAPM / MRICS or equivalent qualification; additional certifications such as PRINCE2, MSP, or Risk Management are an advantage.Solid knowledge of construction industry practices and technical matters.Experience with Nordic standard contracts (NS, AB, ABT).Demonstrated ability in core PM processes : risk, opportunities and issues, planning / programming, change control, reporting, and stakeholder management.Experience delivering projects or programmes across the full project lifecycle.Understanding of HSE (HMS) legislation, with a willingness to obtain formal training if not already completed.Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills with clients and colleagues alike.Benefits
