Are you looking for a hands-on job as a forklift operator in a busy production environment? In cooperation with Thermo-Transit, we are now hiring someone who enjoys physical work and wants to contribute to an essential part of the food industry. This is a summer position with the possibility of extension and quick start. What the job involves : You will join the team at a well-established seafood producer in Frogner, Akershus. The work takes place in chilled warehouse and production areas, with temperatures between 4 and 8 degrees. You will mainly operate a forklift and handle fresh fish, primarily salmon. Your tasks include : Driving forklift in warehouse and terminal. Loading and unloading goods. Handling boxes of fish. Supporting an efficient workflow. Following hygiene and food safety procedures. Who we are looking for : You need to be able to work shifts, handle physically demanding tasks, and be comfortable with repetitive work in a fast-paced setting. This role suits someone who is practical, reliable, and takes responsibility. You must have : A valid forklift license. Availability to work shifts (day, evening, night). Good communication skills in Norwegian or English. Access to a car or ability to commute to Frogner. Good physical condition and experience with manual work. It is a plus if you : Have previous forklift experience. Are accurate and follow hygiene procedures. Are flexible and work well with others. What we offer : Quick start and on-site training.
