AVS Supply Chain Project Manager

Job Description Summary

The Project Manager –handles planning, coordinating, and executing supplier transfer programs to ensure seamless transitions into current production / sites, minimize risks, and maintain business continuity. The role requires collaboration with global cross-functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure quality cost and timeline objectives are met.

This position is a hybrid role, which means it combines both remote and on-site work. We expect the successful candidate to be present at the Horten, Norway, manufacturing facility for a minimum of three days per week. This on-site presence is crucial for effective collaboration with the team, hands-on management of projects, and ensuring smooth operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

Project Planning & execution :

• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans for supplier transfers including timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with business goal.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including sourcing, engineering, quality, operations, and QARA.
• Monitor and track project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues throughout the lifecycle of the program.
• Lead regular project meetings, reporting status and providing regular updates to stakeholders and leadership teams.
• Ensure compliance to GEHC QMS and industry standards.
• Work closely with suppliers to ensure smooth transition, including knowledge transfer, validation and capability / readiness assessments.
