Youth on DemandOslo, Norway
Job description

Youth on Demand is Norway’s most ambitious youth employment platform. We connect young people aged 13–25 with families, the elderly, and businesses that need help — solving three urgent problems at once : youth unemployment, everyday challenges for busy adults and the increasing demand for help for the elderly. With early traction, an active user base, and a mission-driven team, we’re building something that truly matters. We’re now looking for a Content and Creative Manager to shape our brand voice, elevate our storytelling, and drive user engagement across every touchpoint. This is a unique opportunity to join early and build something from the ground up—both in terms of systems and culture.

Why This Role Is Different

You’ll Own Our Narrative : You’ll design and execute our content strategy that brings our mission to life — in blog posts, social campaigns, newsletters, videos, and beyond.

You’ll Be the Bridge : Working closely with Product, Tech, and Customer Success, you’ll translate user insights into compelling content that educates, converts, and retains.

You’ll Start Hands-On, Scale Quickly : From day one you’ll draft copy, storyboard videos, and run A / B tests. Over time, you’ll build the processes and team to amplify your impact.

You’ll Learn and Grow : Whether you’re an established content pro or an ambitious up-and-comer, you’ll own real projects, get rapid feedback, and help shape our culture.

Your Day-to-Day

Strategize & Plan : Develop and maintain an editorial calendar covering blogs, social media, email, video, and in-app content.

Create & Optimize : Write, edit, and QA high-impact copy. In the beginning this includes creating designs from scratch, filming and editing as well as being in charge of consultants and agencies to produce on-brand visuals and motion.

Collaborate : Partner with Customer Success to turn user questions into knowledge-base articles; work with Product to craft copy that guides users through our features.

Analyze & Iterate : Track content KPIs (engagement, reach, conversion), surface trends, and continuously refine your approach.

You Might Be a Great Fit If…

You have 3–5 years of experience leading content or creative projects—either in a fast-moving startup, marketplace, or agency.

You’re equally skilled at storytelling and data : crafting narratives that resonate, then measuring what works.

You thrive in agile environments : you spot an opportunity and dive in, then step back to build scalable processes.

You’re a strong collaborator, comfortable working cross-functionally with engineers, designers, and customer-facing teams.

You’re fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.

Bonus If You Have :

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, Figma, WordPress (or similar CMS), and basic SEO best practices.

A background in social video production and storytelling.

Familiarity with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Hotjar) or experimentation frameworks.

A passion for youth empowerment, social impact, or tech-driven marketplaces.

Have experience with UX Design.

What We Offer

A mission-driven product used by real people every day

A small, ambitious team where your voice matters

A unique chance to build our content function from scratch

Flexibility, trust, and a hybrid office / home model in Oslo

Competitive salary, potential equity, and great benefits
