Location : Verdal, Norway (Aker Verdal during commissioning).

The Commissioning Lead EICT is responsible for providing direction, guidance and supervision during completion and commissioning activities related to the project.

Responsibilities

  • Lead role for ensuring completions and commissioning requirements of all FFA projects, carried out safely, efficiently, and ensure they meet all Aker BPs project and operational requirements, including verification and assurance.
  • Responsible, or part of completion team for implementing the commissioning certification and handover process.
  • Responsible for ensuring safe and efficient handover to the Asset Operations team upon completion of commissioning activities.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the Commissioning EICT team and ensure that a high level of focus is maintained on health, safety and the environment.
  • Provision of commissioning support to project as required including ensuring sufficient manning according to project needs.
  • When required, act as the site commissioning authority during the commissioning phases.

Qualifications

  • BSc. in Engineering or a related field or equivalent education / experience. Experience from Valhall's operations is of great benefit.
  • Track record of engineering competency and delivery in the Oil & Gas industry and able to demonstrate effective project management skills.
  • Familiarity with planning tools, works management systems and document management systems.
  • Minimum 5 Years Of Relevant Experience.
  • Knowledge of the products from the main supplier of electrical equipment.
  • Ability to engage and lead a team of commissioning technicians.
