Assignment Description

  • The client is seeking experienced Geoscientists to join our subsurface teams at our Stavanger location.
  • Candidates are expected to work in multi-disciplinary teams and have a proven track record of adding value by integrating key subsurface data to identify and characterize opportunities at the wellbore, reservoir, field and regional scales.

  • As a high-end contributor in multi-disciplinary teams you will perform, lead and deliver the Geoscience components of integrated subsurface studies to drive and support business decisions.

Assignments can involve combinations of the following :

  • Integrate data and interpretations from a broad range of subsurface disciplines
  • Develop consistent stratigraphic frameworks and depositional models that explain and predict reservoir facies distribution and quality
  • Seismic interpretation based on well-seismic ties, rock properties analysis and supported by seismic forward modelling
  • Construct and populate reservoir models for development and depletion planning studies, well placement and identification of drilling opportunities
  • Participate in internal and external peer reviews as required
  • Participate in license meetings with external stakeholders as required

    • Qualifications

    8 years of relevant experience in subsurface characterisation

    Graduate Degree (Masters / PhD) in a relevant discipline

    Experienced Petrel user
