Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Loop Test Engineer to support commissioning activities on a major offshore project in Norway. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing and verifying instrument loop checks, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and engineer loop test execution in the project.
- Provide guidance in loop test strategy planning.
- Support the Loop Test Lead in organizing and overseeing loop test activities.
- Be present at sites during loop test.
- Follow-up loop test activities in yards and ensure alignment with project milestones and commissioning sequences.
- Plan and follow up ATS work on various instruments.
- Prepare for daily activities including work permits.
- Maintain an up-to-date overview of loop test availability and ensure required documentation, equipment, and personnel are ready for loop test.
- Verify that loop tests are executed in accordance with project specifications.
Qualifications
English and Norwegian language skills.Experience in instrument loop testing, commissioning, and project environments in offshore / oil and gas sectors.Employment details
