Senior Backend Engineer

Overview

Are you curious and passionate about building scalable cloud backend systems? The Architecture and Engineering Section is now looking to strengthen our engineering capabilities with two Senior Backend Engineers with AWS experience to help us build secure, high-performing backend services that support DNB's digital transformation and customer-facing applications . We're looking for someone with Senior-level or Staff engineering experience, strong technical depth, and a strategic mindset - ready to lead complex initiatives across teams and domains.

About the teams

Our teams are passionate about delivering robust and scalable backend solutions. We have a culture of continuous learning, and you will have the opportunity to deepen your cloud and infrastructure skills. We use the latest cloud technologies to build APIs, event-driven services, and containerized applications. Our cross-functional teams include product owners, engineers, architects, and designers, working agile with full DevOps responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate mission-critical backend systems on AWS.
• Help shape architectural decisions and solve complex challenges to ensure scalable, reliable solutions.
• Contribute to shared standards, mentor others, and foster a collaborative engineering culture.
• Collaborate with team members across domains and participate in architecture-to-deployment activities.
