Join our digital team as a translator from English and Swedish into Norwegian and localize Samsung’s many products and digital experiences. You will be part of the Cheil digital team and closely collaborate with our client Samsung. We’re an ambitious team of 10+ professionals working mainly with web production for Samsung Nordics websites.

Samsung is a big company but the Nordic D2C team is constantly re-shaping and developing, and this recruitment is a step of localizing production, bringing the team closer for higher speed and quality as the expected outcome. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills in localizations at a large and international company.

Please be aware that this is a 6-month contract.

Remote work arrangements are available for this position.

Roles and responsibilities

• Interpret briefs, branding guidelines, and product information to understand project requirements and become a champion of electronic products across all categories
• Research product information, pricing, and offer information as needed to complete assignments
• Collaborate with stakeholders like paid media team, copywriters and designers, web developers, category managers, external agencies, legal department and other professionals
• Edit and proofread copy produced by other internal and external teams
• Stay updated on industry trends, production techniques, and emerging technologies
• Deliver high quality translations with correct information and values
• Work with and maintain glossary, word banks and terminology databases
