On behalf of one of our clients, we are looking for a Senior Data Engineer.

Responsibilities

  • Experience delivering production-grade data pipelines using Python, SQL and Rest APIs.
  • Experience in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and systems, focusing on quality, performance, and availability in alignment with defined standards, reference architecture and data delivery requirements.
  • Proven ability to drive and manage end-to-end data delivery processes, including integrations, data extractions, modelling, and analysis—ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with business objectives and data governance standards.
  • A DevOps mindset with hands-on experience in version control (Git), CI / CD pipelines, and deployment environments.
  • Ability to independently investigate and resolve complex data delivery issues, ensuring minimal disruption, root cause identification, and continuous improvement across data platforms and processes.
  • Professional experience with Azure (cloud services, deployment, data management).
  • Preferably experience with Cognite Data Fusion (CDF).

Qualifications

  • Minimum Master’s degree in relevant discipline. Relevant experience can compensate for formal education.
  • Customer-focused mindset and strong ability to plan and prioritize.
  • Fluent in English and Norwegian, both verbal and written.
