Are you a maritime sales professional eager to make a significant impact? At Baze Technology, the innovative force behind Bazeport IPTV, we're seeking a Business Development Manager to join our office in Porsgrunn. This role is about building lasting connections in the maritime sector and contributing to our growth.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Strategic Contribution : Implement our vision and strategy, collaborating closely with our team in Porsgrunn.
  • Maritime Industry Expertise : Leverage your network within the maritime community and ship owners to expand our reach.
  • New Business Opportunities : Identify and nurture new avenues for growth, specifically in the maritime sector.
  • Sales Achievement : Drive sales initiatives from our Porsgrunn office.
  • Customer Base Expansion : Broaden our customer base, focusing on maritime clients, while enhancing existing relationships.
  • Market Analysis : Contribute to our in-depth market and competitor analyses, staying ahead in the maritime domain.
  • Collaboration and Reporting : Utilize Salesforce CRM and other reporting tools to effectively manage relationships and track progress.
  • Upholding Organisational Culture : Embody our values and culture, fostering positive relationships within the office.

How Our Sales Department is Organised :

Our Sales Department is structured to provide comprehensive support and expertise throughout the sales process. It is divided into the following key areas :

  • Aftersales Department : Dedicated to maintaining and enhancing customer satisfaction post-sale.
  • Inside Sales : Focused on providing sales support for the entire organisation, ensuring smooth and efficient processes across all departments.
  • Business Development : Building strategic relationships and exploring new market opportunities.
  • By working together, our teams ensure a seamless and effective sales experience for our clients.

    Your Profile :

  • Maritime Sales Experience : Ideally three to five years of experience with proven results in sales within the maritime community. Experience in selling IPTV systems, telecom equipment, e-learning, content, connectivity, or communication solutions is advantageous.
  • Network : Established connections with ship owners and maritime professionals are beneficial.
  • Skills : Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical abilities.
  • Tech Proficiency : Experience with Salesforce CRM and various reporting tools.
  • Compliance Knowledge : Familiarity with ISO 9001, HSE standards, and corporate governance.
