As IT Operations Engineer you areresponsible for ensuring the reliable, secure, and efficient operation of the company’s IT systems and infrastructure. The role serves as a central point of support for all IT-related topics across the organization, from day-to-day user assistance to backend administration of Microsoft 365 services and Azure environments.

This position bridges the gap between infrastructure, application operations, and end-user enablement to drive organizational efficiency and technology maturity. Key responsibilities

  • Provide IT Support & User Assistance – Handle daily IT requests, incidents, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operations across the organization.
  • Administer Microsoft 365 Services – Manage Entra ID (Azure AD), Teams, Intune, SharePoint, Exchange, Copilot and related services, including policies and configurations.
  • Manage Access & Identity Lifecycle – Create and maintain user accounts, groups, and access rights; enforce security and compliance policies.
  • Oversee Azure & Cloud Operations – Support daily monitoring, operations, and security of Azure resources in collaboration with the platform architect.
  • Handle IT Asset & License Management – Procure, deploy, and track hardware / software assets, practicing cost control and compliance with licensing agreements.
  • Implement & Maintain IT Security Measures – Apply company security policies, manage endpoint protection, patching, and access controls to protect digital assets.
  • Provide Training & Best Practice Guidance – Support employees and teams with training in Microsoft 365 tools, promoting efficient and secure ways of working.
  • Network & IoT management and monitoring – Support operations of our charging infrastructure, ensuring high security. Coordinating with suppliers to drive improvements to support business growth and customer experience.

Success factors

  • Service Availability – Ensures stable IT and business services with minimal downtime, meeting SLAs.
  • User Support – Provide fast, service minded support that contributes to employee satisfaction.
  • IT Security – Applies access control, patching, and endpoint protection to reduce risks and ensure compliance.
  • Identity Management – Strong knowledge of IAM, security groups, conditional access, SSO, and related tools.
  • Microsoft 365 Adoption – Guide effective use of M365 and AI / Copilot tools for collaboration and productivity.
  • Azure Operations – Experience in Azure monitoring, infrastructure operations, and basic scripting / automation.
  • Asset & License Management – Tracks and optimizes IT assets and licenses, ensuring compliance and sustainability.
  • Supplier Coordination – Manage IT and telecom suppliers to secure quality, accountability, and cost efficiency.
  • Continuous Improvement – Actively improve IT processes, security, and operational performance.
  • Framework Knowledge – Familiar with ITIL practices and ISO27001 / NIS2 requirements.

    Place of work : at our HQ in Moss or office in central Stockholm. Some traveling will be required, primarily within the Nordic region. This role reports to the Head of IT and Security.
