Overview

We are looking for a systems Engineer for a project in Horten.

The Team : Our product development team is a global collaboration, with experts primarily based in Norway and India, but working together across time zones to bring the future of ultrasound technology to life. You will work closely with engineers who specialize in software, hardware, and mobile app development, all with a shared goal of making medical imaging more accessible and efficient.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the full product development lifecycle of ultrasound devices, from concept through delivery.
Collaborate with software, hardware, and mobile app teams to create integrated solutions.
Support cross-functional teams in problem-solving and innovation to improve healthcare outcomes.
Participate in design, modeling, and validation activities related to ultrasound systems.

Qualifications

Experience in product development, preferably in medical devices or similar technology-driven industries.

Knowledge or interest in ultrasound technology, wireless systems, or mobile app integration.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.

A passion for improving healthcare and contributing to impactful innovations.

Skills

Programming Languages : C++, Python, (any others if relevant)

Ultrasound Systems : Modeling, algorithm development, signal / image processing

Version Control : Git, GitLab

Tools & Frameworks : QT Creator, Xcode, Android Studio

Development Environments : MacOS, iOS, Android

Methodologies : Agile / Scrum

Ultrasound system insight, including modelling and algorithm development, signal and image processing

Language fluent in English

Education

Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science or related computer field
