Overview

At Varnish Software, we're looking for a skilled DevOps / SRE Engineer to join our R&D team! You'll be instrumental in building and optimizing the infrastructure that ensures the lowest latency and highest reliability for content delivery globally.

Responsibilities

The DevOps Engineer is responsible for building, automating, and optimizing the infrastructure that powers high-performance streaming and content delivery. This role requires a strong foundation in networking, automation, and internal tooling development to ensure the lowest latency, highest reliability, and most scalable streaming experiences for our customers.

The daily tasks include :

• Infrastructure & Automation

Designing and maintaining CI / CD pipelines for efficient deployment of streaming and caching software

Working with Anycast, and CDN routing strategies to optimize video content delivery

Developing custom internal tools to improve DevOps workflows, infrastructure observability, and automation

Setting up observability platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK stack, or OpenTelemetry) to track performance

Working closely with Solutions Engineers, Network Engineers, and R&D to ensure seamless integrations
