We are looking for a passionate Systems Architect to join our dynamic team of highly skilled engineers. You will play a key role in shaping the future technology landscape of our business.

If you have a passion for Systems Engineering and aspire to bridge the gap between product organizations, system level decompositions (requirements, functional, logical, physical and behavioral) and implementation – this role is for you. As a System Architect you will be part of an architect team working to integrate our Kongsberg Maritime products for future solutions.

What you will be doing

  • Define and create the architecture for future solutions at Kongsberg Maritime, focusing on product integration.
  • Establish a technical vision together with the Systems Engineering team, guiding the architecture for all our solutions. This involves keeping up with current technological trends and innovations.
  • Design systems and solutions to turn new KM products into reality while ensuring that stakeholder needs and requirements are met.
  • Contribute to the development of the Systems Engineering discipline by providing thought leadership around innovative approaches, workflows, and technologies.
  • Ensure Systems Engineering Process fulfillment within the projects and products you work with.
  • Collaborate with teams of architects, developers, product owners and managers, sharing and utilizing knowledge across cross-functional and globally distributed multi-discipline departments and projects.

We think you should have

  • Bachelor or Master degree in engineering with experience and interest in Systems Engineering and product integration.
  • Several years of experience in various technological domains, including concept development, systems architecture, system integration, and Systems Engineering in product development.
  • Knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering (e.g., SysML, UML, UAF).
  • Good communication skills.
