Information Technology Manager vacancy in Bergen Norway

IT Manager

We are hiring an experienced IT Manager to oversee the technology operations of our company in Bergen, Norway. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information technology and management, with the ability to lead and develop our IT team.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement IT strategies to support the company's goals
  • Manage all aspects of the company's technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and security
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department
  • Ensure that all systems are functioning properly and troubleshoot any issues that arise
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and service providers
  • Create and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency
  • Stay up-to-date with new technology trends and recommend innovative solutions to improve business processes
  • Train employees on new systems or software as needed

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role as an IT Manager or in a managerial position within an IT department
  • Strong knowledge of network administration, data management, and cybersecurity best practices
  • Proficient in project management and budget management
  • Ability to lead a team and foster a positive work environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Fluent in English (Norwegian or other languages is a plus)
