EMEA Talent Acquisition Lead ~ We're Hiring at HCL Tech! HCL Tech’s Microsoft Business Applications Practice - (MBAP) is seeking a Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM Enterprise Architect to join their award-winning and growing team.

The Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM Enterprise Architect carries the ultimate responsibility for meeting the customer requirements and completing the project. The Dynamics 365 F&SCM Enterprise Architect will be comfortable in all aspects of delivery.

They must be capable of switching between supporting or leading customer facing functional workshops and a group of functional consultants and business analysts, supporting technical roles including interface design, data configuration and migration and development teams, either customer based or HCLTech centric onshore and off-shore teams, working with project and program managers to effectively report on progress and risks and issues – to liaise with both internal and customer senior stakeholders – adjusting the approach and language as required for each interaction. The candidate must be extremely detail-oriented, have the ability to multitask, be meticulously organized, and be able to prioritize multiple demands in a fast-paced environment.

You will be a confident communicator and a good co-ordinator whilst being able to handle stakeholders at all levels within an organisation. You should also have experience of managing teams of consultants and will be used to owning elements of the functional design and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Drive quality and consistency within the company and champion the use of the Proven Process methodology. Ensure methodology is adhered to on all projects.
• Assume overall responsibility for solution design and architecture including clear visibility of transition from as-is solution landscape to to-be solution landscape through delivery and ownership of solution overview diagrams.
• Act as a functional lead across multiple functional streams; lead functional workshops with customers, document requirements and design appropriate solutions. Own the overall solution design.
• Work alongside an interface / integration lead to demonstrate methodology and technical capabilities. Lead functional elements of integration workshops with customers, document requirements and designs.
• Work with data migration lead to demonstrate methodology and technical capabilities. Lead functional elements of data migration workshops with customers, document requirements and designs. Own the overall configuration and gold build of the solution being implemented.
• Advocate adherence to standards and best practices. Understand the capabilities of the functional and development teams, providing support and assistance as needed.
• Collaborate with customer and internal teams on solution, business and infrastructure architecture where required.
• Provide required functional, business and solution support to customers during D365 F&SCM implementations and collaborate with D365 CE Architects on hybrid / enterprise projects.
• Write and review high level and detailed Enterprise Architecture documentation in line with Proven Process methodology.
• Create Solution and Functional documentation for the project; ensure documentation meets project commercials and Proven Process standards.
• Engage with test team to ensure thorough testing of the solution.
• Stay current on D365 F&SCM and related technologies, particularly Azure stack technologies that support the solution.
• Mentor junior staff, sharing knowledge and experience to grow the team’s capability.
• Demonstrate flexibility with time and operate in a process-oriented environment.
• Communicate effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Advise customers on best practices for D365 F&SCM processes, user interface, and architecture.
• Coordinate with training team to deliver and create super users and end users training, as needed.
• Participate in and lead pre-sales engagements as appropriate.
• Collaborate with the sales team on tender responses, estimates and customer demonstrations.
• Facilitate functional sessions and weekly status meetings with clients and drive client decisions.
• Own project deliverables (status reports, documentation, test plans) and take responsibility for their success.
• Provide weekly status reporting alongside Technical Architect and Project Management.
