Duration : ASAP - 6 to 12 month

Location : Ålesund with the possibility of commuting / partial remote work

Assignment Description

Define project scope, deliverables, schedule and budget in collaboration with key stakeholders
Lead the execution of lighting system projects from start to finish
Coordinate cross-functional teams including design, engineering, production and sales
Maintain close dialogue with clients, suppliers and partners throughout the project lifecycle
Monitor progress, identify risks, and take proactive action to ensure high quality outcomes
Drive documentation processes and ensure compliance with industry and contract standards
Contribute to continuous improvement in how we deliver and manage complex system projects

Qualifications

Bachelor\'s or master’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field

5+ years of project management experience, preferably from marine, offshore, energy or construction sectors

Proven track record of managing complex, high-value technical projects

Solid understanding of engineering processes and ability to follow technical discussions

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with fluency in English and Norwegian, both written and verbal

Experience with project management tools (e.g. Projektron, Jira)

Certifications like PMP or PRINCE2 are an advantage

Structured and detail-oriented, with a hands-on approach to planning and problem-solving

Strong communicator who builds trust across technical and cultural contexts

Solution-oriented and calm under pressure, with a proactive mindset

Comfortable working with complexity and managing large-scale system deliveries

Collaborative and inclusive, with a natural ability to coordinate across teams and functions
