Role Overview

As Area Sales Manager , you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing dealer and partner relationships, and ensuring XPENG delivers exceptional results in Norway. This is a senior position for a proven sales leader with deep industry expertise, ideally from the automotive sector or other relevant premium, technology-driven industries.

You will combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, acting as a trusted partner for both our retail network and our customers. Your leadership will directly influence XPENG’s growth, brand perception, and long-term success in the Norwegian market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales performance and market share growth across Norway.
  • Develop, manage, and optimize the performance of dealer networks and retail partners.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including dealers, fleet customers, and corporate partners.
  • Define and implement regional sales strategies aligned with XPENG’s overall business goals.
  • Monitor market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining the highest standards of service and brand experience.
  • Lead negotiations and major account management with key partners.
  • Collaborate with marketing, aftersales, and product teams to deliver a seamless customer journey.
  • Provide regular reporting, forecasting, and analysis to senior management.
  • Represent XPENG at industry events, trade shows, and business forums.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 10+ years of senior sales leadership experience in the automotive sector or other relevant premium / technology-driven industries.
  • Proven track record of delivering strong sales growth and managing dealer / partner networks.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in business development and contract negotiation.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Deep understanding of the Norwegian automotive market and customer expectations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English, both spoken and written.
  • Passion for innovation, sustainability, and the future of mobility.
