Payroll Specialist

A few of your responsibilities in this role :
Arrange monthly payroll for seafarers, i.e. calculations of tariff wages, taxes, sick leave and travel expenses
Tax and governmental reporting for Norwegian and non-Norwegian personnel
Familiarization with relevant rules and regulations regarding tax reporting for seismic vessel crews with various nationalities
Updating and reconciliation of the accounting payroll system
Vessel cost control
Extensive collaboration with team members from our global offices
Some of the qualifications required for the role :
Higher education within economics / accounting / business law
2 to 5 years of experience from payroll, preferably for seafarers (NOR / NIS)
Experience with account reconciliations, annual reporting, and project payroll concepts
Experience and extensive knowledge of Norwegian and international tax law, hereunder rules for social security and pension schemes
Good command of written and spoken Norwegian and English language
Ability to identify improvement potentials
High level of systematic approach and punctuality in your self-driven work, motivated by internal and external compliance requirements and deadlines
About the location :
The position will be at Wilhelmsen headquarters at Lysaker in Norway. The office is located at the waterfront in modern facilities with easy access to public transportation.
