We are looking for a Painter / Vehicle Refinisher to work on one of the most progressive and innovative high-end vehicle brands in the world. This position involves being part of a refinishing team that delivers outstanding repairs and customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do

• Carry out preparation work to Tesla standards using all required tooling and equipment.
• Collaborate with Senior Technicians and undertake more complex tasks as part of your development, continuously learning and improving your skills.
• Understand refinish processes and operations.
• Operate a variety of hand-powered and motorized shop tools, including heavy equipment during refinish processes.
• Work across teams, engaging with technicians and Bodyshop staff.
• Follow Tesla repair guidelines, safety instructions, and industry standards.
• Polish and de-nib inclusions in refinished areas.
• Ensure work complies with EHS policies and industry guidelines.
• Apply primer, sanding, masking, and sealing techniques.
• Demonstrate skills in applying base coat, clear coat, and pearlescent finishes.
• Identify and rectify paint issues to Tesla quality standards.
• Provide feedback to teams for continuous improvement.
• Handle escalations and collaborate with senior technicians for complex issues.
• Perform quality checks to meet Tesla’s high standards.
• Mentor and lead by example within the team.
