As our new Senior QA Engineer, you will play a vital role in securing the quality of our IT solutions. You will work closely with developers, DevOps, and business stakeholders to ensure deliveries meet requirements for functionality, performance, security, and user experience — making a real impact on how our passengers experience Norwegian.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop test strategies and test plans for both functional and non-functional testing.

Define test criteria based on user stories and acceptance criteria.

Perform manual testing to uncover defects and areas for improvement.

Implement and maintain automated tests where they bring value.

Identify, document, and follow up on defects in close collaboration with the development team.

Ensure traceability between tests, defect reports, and requirements.

Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and quality assurance.

Collaborate with developers to improve test coverage and CI / CD pipelines.

Drive strong collaboration across IT teams and with business stakeholders.

Follow up external vendors and ensure quality in deliveries.

Stay updated on trends and best practices in testing and quality assurance.

Your Background and Expertise :

Relevant higher education in IT, or equivalent experience.

3+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.

Experience with tools and frameworks for both manual and automated testing.

Knowledge of modern development practices (Agile / Scrum, DevOps, CI / CD).

Advantageous with experience from aviation, travel, or other complex domains.

Good understanding of requirements management and traceability.

Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
