We have an incredible opportunity for a Senior Key Account Manager to join the team to support establishing the Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG) Norway operations and lead all client relations.
As a Senior Key Account Manager you will be responsible for cultivating client relationships, implementing strategic sales plans, and contributing to the global impact of our industry‑leading organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Co-facilitating the establishment of STG footprint in Norway and representing the Company vis a vis local regulation and in legal framework (act as a local company manager).
- Account Management : Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key national retail accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for all business‑related matters.
- Strategic Planning : Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies and action plans to achieve sales targets and objectives within assigned accounts.
- Market Analysis : Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to identify opportunities for growth and adaptation.
- Negotiation : Negotiate favorable terms and agreements with retail partners, including pricing, promotions, and product placement, to drive sales and increase market share.
- Forecasting and Planning : Collaborate with internal teams to develop accurate sales forecasts and inventory plans, ensuring optimal product availability and distribution.
- New Business Development : Identify and pursue opportunities to expand distribution and penetration within existing accounts, as well as target new business prospects.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration : Work closely with marketing, commercial excellence, finance, operations, and other internal stakeholders to align strategies and ensure seamless execution of initiatives.
- Compliance and Regulatory Adherence : Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards governing the sale and marketing of tobacco products.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field.Minimum of 5 years of previous national key account management or other related commercial experience.Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast‑paced environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, BI tools and CRM software.Native in Norwegian and fluent in English is a must.Knowledge of tobacco market and regulations is a plus.Why Join STG
