Role overview

The position involves overall responsibility for fish health services in Åkerblå-DNV, including defining frameworks and developing products and delivery, aligning services across regions, and fostering professional development within the organization. The reporting line is to the Head of Section Fish Health. Office location is at one of our established offices along the Norwegian coast; please specify your preferred office location in your application.

Responsibilities

• Act as an internal expert and advisor : Ensure Åkerblå is always professionally up to date.
• Consolidate and further develop our professional foundation and harmonize it across the company : systems, procedures, and guidelines. This includes overall responsibility for internal resource groups within the field.
• Develop and maintain systems that ensure professional standards required of fish health personnel.
• Facilitate collaboration and synergy between various professional areas within Åkerblå.
• Represent the company externally in professional contexts. Build strong relationships with relevant networks such as customer, supplier, and partner professional communities.
• Contribute to the development of existing and new services, including overall responsibility for following up on relevant projects related to fish health (e.g., Skattefunn and other R&D activities).
• Professionally coordinate critical deliveries that span across regions.
• Support organizational work and regulatory processes related to the field.
