Job descriptionIn-depth knowledge of IFRS and strong understanding of accounting standards under local legislation (e.g., NGAAP and SGAAP) Significant hands-on experience with group consolidation processes, including multi-entity and multi-currency environments Significant operational experience with the consolidation process Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., ERP systems such as D365, SAP, or similar) and advanced Excel skills; experience with consolidation tools is a strong plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with, cross-functional teams and external stakeholders Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for delivering high-quality financial insights and reporting Analytical thinker with a problem-solving mindset and attention to detail Collaborative approach, fostering teamwork across departments and promoting a culture of continuous improvement and transparency

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Group Accountant to take ownership of group consolidation and reporting processes. In this role, you will play a key part in securing high-quality financial data, applying IFRS and local GAAP standards, and supporting accurate, timely reporting across multiple entities.
About the role
- Consolidation and preparation of Schibsted Media’s external reports and Annual Report
- Support finance personnel in subsidiaries with solving accounting issues and closely collaborate with other related departments
- Preparation of accounting memos and ensure IFRS compliance
- Drive improvement and efficiencies
- Support Head of Financial Controlling & Group Accounting with overall improvement initiatives
