Job description5+ years of backend engineering experience (with 2+ years in a senior / lead role) Deep experience with Golang in production environments Understanding of blockchain fundamentals or experience working with indexers Experience deploying containerized apps with Kubernetes Solid grasp of CI / CD pipelines and cloud platforms (GCP preferred) Strong communicator and team player with leadership instincts Startup mentality — autonomous, proactive, adaptable Contributions to open-source projects Experience scaling infrastructure for high-throughput systems Familiarity with smart contracts or decentralized protocols Leadership Role Great work environment Work alongside & learn from best in class talent

The Role
You’ll lead the architecture of our core systems, mentor other engineers, and help us scale our infrastructure as our CTO transitions into a more R&D-heavy role. If you’re someone who thrives on autonomy, enjoys ownership, and wants to shape the technical direction of a product with real impact.
What You'll Do
- Lead backend development of our Golang-based APIs, indexers, and services
- Guide a small team of backend engineers (or help build one)
- Design and maintain scalable, cloud-native architecture (Kubernetes, GCP)
- Implement secure and reliable CI / CD (GitHub Actions, Flux CD)
- Collaborate with product and design teams to translate ideas into real features
- Keep performance, uptime, and reliability top of mind (Prometheus, Loki)
- Explore new tools and frameworks to keep us ahead of the curve
