Overview

The Project Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of software implementation projects, ensuring both commercial and technical success. This role focuses on effective team leadership, project planning, risk management, and strong stakeholder communication to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

Leadership

  • Coordinate and manage individual and team contributions towards complex project tasks.
  • Foster and sustain motivation, confidence, and involvement among team members.
  • Lead and moderate meetings, discussions, and conflict resolutions.
  • Act as a point of escalation to resolve delivery challenges impacting performance.

Mentorship

  • Provide feedback on team members’ performance.
  • Set clear project objectives and expectations.
  • Mentor and support peers and junior project managers on best practices, including waterfall, agile, and hybrid methodologies.
  • Technical Skills

  • Apply a strong understanding of core product activities and software deployment.
  • Identify key stakeholders and maintain stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Utilize working knowledge of the Quorum product suite and roadmap.
  • Identify risks early and develop actionable mitigation plans.
  • Project Delivery and Management

  • Utilize proven project management principles, methods, and techniques to lead projects effectively.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Set milestones and monitor project progress to ensure delivery on time and within budget.
  • Manage risks, delivery impediments, and escalate appropriately when necessary.
  • Business Knowledge

  • Demonstrate core knowledge of industry trends and the Quorum product value proposition.
  • Understand and manage project-related commercial processes, including contracts, invoicing, and accruals.
  • Communication

  • Communicate consistently and effectively across various media channels.
  • Confidently present to senior stakeholders, including under pressure.
  • Clearly define and communicate team expectations, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Keep senior management informed of progress, risks, and key issues.
  • Social Intelligence

  • Demonstrate empathy and provide support to team members when needed.
  • Cultivate a positive and strong team culture.
  • Promote individual growth and professional development within the team.
  • Empower individuals and foster collective team success.
