Job description

Protecnium  is an international consulting firm specializing in engineering and technical services (www.protecnium.com / en). We are currently looking for a  TBM Surveyor  to join our team for a  Construction Project in Oslo,Noruega .

  • Estimated length of the position : 12 months - with the possibility of being extended. In general, when the project ends, we try to place the candidate in other projects to give him / her continuity.
  • Responsibilities :
  • Carrying out laser scanning and other industry leading Engineering surveying techniques.
  • Ensuring best safe practices during all survey-based operations, liaise with the site-based construction and safety staff.
  • Accurately and reliably produce survey data to present to production and design teams including other stakeholders as required.
  • Carrying out, through the team all engineering survey requirements in line with procedures and management plan
  • Fulfilling Health & Safety responsibilities by adhering to the Company’s Health & Safety Policy and Management Plans.
  • Complying with all Company’s Policies and Procedures.
  • Undertaking other such reasonable duties appropriate to the role.
  • Skills & Experience :
  • Extensive experience in their field.
  • Up to date knowledge of Engineering surveying techniques.
  • Experienced in measurement and coordination of large-scale survey networks.
  • Experience in working with design alignments, 3D design models, positioning control systems, laser scan capture and processing methodologies for design analysis and As-built reporting.
  • A self-sufficient and motivated individual who can build relationships, develop strategy, and establish processes for surveying.
  • Experience in survey data processing through various software suites.
  • Experience in control network adjustments.
  • Experience in Laser scan processing procedures.
  • Working Hours :   The work schedule consists of 12-hour rotating shifts, with 14 consecutive days of work followed by 14 days off.
