TOMRA is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused IT Service Desk Specialist to join our global IT Service Delivery team. In this role, you will be a key player in delivering reliable, professional, and timely IT support to our internal users across the globe. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that ensures our colleagues remain productive with state-of-the-art IT equipment and services.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, international environment and enjoys solving technical challenges while delivering exceptional service.

Key Tasks

  • Provide first-line (L1) IT support to end users via the global IT Service Desk
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including hardware setup and collection
  • Prepare and configure client computers, mobile devices, and access cards
  • Support users with Windows-based systems, Microsoft 365, and mobile platforms (iOS / Android)
  • Handle IT requests and incidents, escalating to L2 / L3 support when necessary
  • Collaborate with global IT teams to review and resolve support tickets
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors for hardware, software, and service issues
  • Perform hands-on maintenance and support, including hardware repairs and installations
  • Manage distribution of IT equipment, support local infrastructure needs and assist remote teams with on-premises hardware

Some travel to other TOMRA locations might be required.

Qualifications

Professional qualifications

  • University degree in Computer Science ( or equivalent experience (minimum 2 years in a similar role)
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft 365
  • Experience with IT support tools and communication platforms (Outlook, Teams, etc.)
  • Familiarity with mobile OS (iOS / Android), basic networking (WAN / LAN / WLAN), and Windows Server or Linux
  • Basic experience with Microsoft Entra, Intune, and cloud computing
  • ITIL 4 Foundation certification is a plus
