RINA is currently recruiting for a Senior Hull Plan Approval Engineer / Stability to join its office in Norway within the Marine North Europe Region Division.
Mission
This role focuses on performing detailed plan and design reviews, resolving issues related to conflicting design requirements, ensuring client requirements and applicable standards are met.
Projects could include the approval of new building, conversion, and existing vessels and yachts.
Native norvegian language and very good english is a must

Key Accountabilities
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years in hull and stability-related engineering roles.
Proven experience in performing and reviewing complex engineering calculations related to hull structure and vessel stability.
Demonstrated ability to apply technical and scientific knowledge to solve practical engineering problems.
Good knowledge of IACS rules and IMO regulations ( SOLAS , MARPOL , LOAD LINE , Ballast Water Management Convention )
Experience with PAX and RO-RO PAX vessels is considered an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective decision-making and sound engineering judgment.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, especially under tight schedules.
Strong skills in conflict resolution and negotiation.
Customer-oriented mindset with a proactive and solution-driven approach.
